San Juan, PR — Serafina Beach Hotel launched an innovative menu for cocktail lovers. The new proposal serves as a meeting point to socialize and —beyond quenching thirst—, sharing the experience of discovering the creativity of modern mixology, according to Pierre-Alex Maillard, general manager of the hotel located in Condado.
The new menu was created by renowned Puerto Rican mixologists Leslie Cofresí and Roberto Berdecia, founders of Licorería Miramar, a gastronomic laboratory dedicated to research development of culinary values, mainly focused on cocktails.
Amongst the drinks that were specially created by Licorería Miramar for Serafina Beach Hotel are interpretations of timeless classics such as vodka-based, eponymous “aMare”, tropical-vibes only “Playa Spritz”, the daring “Guava Mule” and whisky lover’s “Aged Dram”; and the “Silk Road”, a pleasant Margarita that uses orange based sweet salt. The cocktails were presented by mixologist Edgar Morales.
The menu also includes signature drinks like the epic “aMare” —made with vodka and elderberry liquor, “Beachside” —a refreshing drink prepared with Gin, ginger—, and many others.
The new cocktail menu is now available at the aMare Restaurant Bar and at PiñaCo Bar located in the lobby of Serafina Beach Hotel.
Opened in March 2018, Serafina Beach Hotel is the most anticipated launch of a hotel in Puerto Rico. Licorería Miramar is the first gastronomic laboratory in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean dedicated to research and development of culinary values with emphasis on cocktail mixology. Founded by the minds behind La Factoría, it was created to address a need among restaurants, hotels and bars to consistently have access to high quality ingredients, recipes, techniques and qualified personnel in order to elevate their service standard.
